The Director-General, Comrade Issa Aremu, used the occasion to call on the organized labour in various government ministries to support President Bola Tinubu and the newly-appointed ministers in ensuring the successful implementation of the policy reforms of the new administration.
He noted that the reform policies of the new administration may necessarily generate conflict between workers and the government, but charged the organized labour to deploy the knowledge gained through training on industrial relations and conflict resolution through dialogue and collective bargaining .
The themes of the workshops are “Strategic Conflict Resolution and Negotiating for Organizational Development” and “Organizational Transformation through Effective Conflict Management and Resolution” respectively.
